"I'm so practical and so boring, and I always think about what the consequences would be...so I haven't really done anything outrageous!"

Holly ValanceNick Jones: What would be your ideal first date?
Holly Valance: I think something really casual and nothing too formal - dinner with a candle and wine would be really awkward. So a neutral place, perhaps get some other friends around, have a picnic, go to a football match where there will be a lot of people.

Rupert Smallwood: Are there any celebrities that you can't stand?
Holly Valance: I don't really know any - none that I've met have made much of an impression on me. I meet people at parties, but you can't really judge people by what you see on TV.

Pete: What's your idea of a great day?
Holly Valance: I think a great day for me would be seeing my girlfriends, having a barbie and some wine. I get a few days off every two or three weeks if I'm lucky!

Phil Lind: Have you made plenty of celeb friends now?
Holly Valance: I don't get a chance to hang out with many - I don't really have any because I'm so busy working.

Azz Day: What is your favourite sport?
Holly Valance: Kickboxing - it gets you fit and strong and you feel good afterwards.

Matt Aussie: What's your favourite English football team?
Holly Valance: I don't know - I s'pose I should say something like Manchester because it's the only one really well known in Australia...

James Ager: What do you think of British soaps?
Holly Valance: Kind of sad! There's always something sad or depressing going on. There's enough bad stuff going on in the real world. You just want to slit your wrists after an episode of something like that! Perhaps it's the climate - in wintertime when it gets dark really early here it can make you very depressed. I'm not looking forward to this winter - I'm cold in summertime, let alone wintertime! I'm going home for two weeks over Christmas to lap it up!

Nick Jones: Are you a flirt and how would you grab a man's attention?
Holly Valance: I suppose I am a bit. Most of the time it's mucking around - but I'm taken! I think smiling at someone draws attention, and you can go up and say hello then.

Holly & ChrisGlen Spencer: What do you think Chris Moyles?
Holly Valance: He's cool - a nice guy! I was warned that he might give me a lot of crap, but that I should hold my ground. But he was being all soft and nice to me! He's funny - I like him!

Thomas Steele: Holly...would you ever go out with Chris Moyles?
Holly Valance: No, I can't say I've...considered him! But who knows what the future might hold? Holly Moyles?!

Marcus Jeffery: Holly do you enjoy cooking?
Holly Valance: I do! If I have time and energy to come home and cook I really like it. But I usually feel lazy and tired so I get something simple or a takeaway.

Andy Parry: Do you get chatted up here, whats the worst anyone has tried?
Holly Valance: The one about is your mother a thief, is your father a thief, then who stole the stars and put them in your eyes?

Nick Jones: What makes you feel sexy?
Holly Valance: Something like a great pair of heels and a nice outfit. I think if you're dressed well it makes you feel special.

Phil Lind: Holly did it hurt when you fell from heaven?
Holly Valance: No - I floated down!

Lewis Round: Do you have any pets?
Holly Valance: I can't have any where I live at the moment. I'd like a cat which wouldn't need too much attention. At home I had a 5x4ft aquarium full of tropical fish. There are about 40 in there, and they have babies, but they get eaten in 20 minutes!

Lee Page: I read somewhere recently that you are into formula 1 is that true?
Holly Valance: I love it. Grand prix is fantastic. We have one in Melbourne every year. I missed it last time because I was doing a photo shoot and I was quite upset! My dad's really into cars so I got into cars when I was quite young.

Adam: Would the chat up line: you remind me of a parking ticket...because you have fine all over you! work or not?
Holly Valance: At least I haven't heard that one before!

Nick Jones: If I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me?
Holly Valance: I've heard that one - good one, really original, Nick!

Glen Spencer: Holly are you going to avoid the usual Aussie-in-England panto stuff?
Holly Valance: Definitely! Not my thing. I think people do that for a bit of extra cash, 'cos it pays very well but it's not something I'd enjoy.

Les: Can you give us a blast of Down Boy, live for us now - please Holly!!
Holly Valance: Definitely not - I'm not warmed up!

Eminem from Birmingham: If you had to do a duet, who would you like it to be with (alive or dead)?
Holly Valance: I don't think I'd want to do a duet with anyone, but I'd like to work with Missy Elliott. I think I'm too selfish for duets! I worked with Nellee Hooper and he was really cool. I tried not to think of any of the people he worked with - like Madonna or Bjork!

MR Fluppet: Why did you want to go into music?
Holly Valance: I was singing before I was on Neigbours, at a singing school. Neighbours was thrown at me when I was modelling for some cash. But I prefer singing. So when record companies approached me, I was glad to have those opportunities. I hope it'll be a long term thing.

Pinky O: Have you done anything rock n roll like throw a telly out of a hotel window?
Holly Valance: I'm so bad like that - I never do tantrums!

Matt Aussie: Holly do you have a nickname?
Holly Valance: Not really - my girlfriends call me Hol - short for Holly.

Jim D: When was the last time you got drunk?
Holly Valance: It would have been nearly two months ago, and I never really get that drunk - I get tipsy, then start on the water! I don't really like the feeling of being drunk.

Billy: what's you favourite single/album of this year?!
Holly Valance: Album: Rock Steady by No Doubt - I love every song. Single: Probably By the Way, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Bo Bo: Which cast members did you not get on with when you worked on Neighbours and why?
Holly Valance: I hated them all! Joking! I got on well with all of them. I wasn't a part of petty arguments there - I just had a job to do. I was the diplomat! From time to time there were a few tantrums on set, but that happens at any workplace.

Ed Wu: Holly, who's going to be the next Australian soap star to have a pop career? Please say Toadfish!
Holly Valance: I don't know! Ryan has a really lovely voice actually - I'm sure he'd love to do that. A lot of them do sing - the girl who plays Libby sings in a band.

Storm: Holly have you finished Neighbours for good?
Holly Valance: I have! That's it! No more. Three years is enough. It feels good to have finished - I e-mail them too, so I don't have to worry about missing them. I'm still mates with them all. My last day was very quick - I just had one scene - but loads of people came down to say goodbye and bring my flowers! That was really, really nice. I didn't cry - I was just kind of giggling because there were all these people there for me. It was a celebration of my time there rather than something sad.

Dianne: Hi Holly, of all the boys on Neighbours who did you fancy the most? My preference is Jesse Spencer who played Bill Kennedy!
Holly Valance: Jess I didn't work with much as he was finishing when I started, but he's a lovely guy. Probably my favourite would be Jansen Spencer who played Paul. I'm still in touch with him, so no losses.

Pinky O: Who would be you dream neighbour?
Holly Valance: Probably the Osbournes - that would be wicked! I think they're hilarious - they're crazy, but they adore each other and that's nice...and I like Kelly's single!

Jim: What are your friends like?
Holly Valance: My girlfriends are mostly students who do office jobs - my best friend's a chemist. They're just normal people.

Adam: Who wuold be your nightmare neighbour?
Holly Valance: I've certainly had some already! They just ended up with some dead fish on their lawns!

Holly sparklesCaroline C: What shops do you like when you are over here in England?
Holly Valance: I haven't had a chance to do any shopping yet! I love things that sparkle though so I'd say Butler and Wilson is my favourite shop. I'm not too familiar with the labels here.

Rupert Smallwood: What's the most outrageous thing you have ever done?
Holly Valance: I'm so practical and so boring, and I always think about what the consequences would be...so I haven't really done anything outrageous!

Ben: Of all the songs in your record collection which song do you wish you had recorded?
Holly Valance: I think Music by Madonna - I love it. She's No.1 as far as I'm concerned! I would be shaking like a leaf if she wanted to work with me! I'd try and be cool but it would be hard!

Paul Nix: What will do you and where will you go after this live chatting programme?
Holly Valance: I fell downstairs in Hamburg last week so now I'm going to get my back x-rayed!

Nick Jones: You have a great body, what exercises do you do to keep in shape?
Holly Valance: I think you should find something you really enjoy - dancing or kickboxing, and then you'll get fit anyway.

Holly Valance: Thanks to everyone who came online - I hope I answered some questions you wanted to know!
