Check out Hendersons Music, up past the diamond, which is on top of Shipquay street. Watch you don't anger the old man who works in the shop though! He's a bit of a physcho! You should check out FLIP, which is on London Street, for urban, vintage and Skate wear and Cool discs, on Foyle Street(Recommended by MOJO music magazine)

Travelled to Londonderry quite recently and found some great shops in main shopping centre (Foyleside). Great bars and clubs in City centre and some fab resturaunts, also discovered by accident a great little craft shop just off main Londonderry to Belfast road (Krafty Sew n Sew)with lots of original gifts ideas. The shop also has a small art gallery with some lovely oil paintings of the City for sale, well worth a visit. Cannot quite remember the name of the business park but i think it is Glendermot Valley Park.

Derry must be the coolest wee town in Ireland or UK. just look how people dress, everyday! The shops in derry fuel this cuttin edge stance the locals have and its not all about designer prices either. undoubtedly the coolest shops are yellow moon(richmond centre), alphabet(other side of shipquay st?), if u want to look like someone from the Salon but i can only afford once a year. definitely check out Flip for cool vintage yet not stokey second hand stuff, its beside st columbs cathedral. Derry also has one of the biggest topshops goin in foyleside but youll find that yourself. No boller hi! get yerself a wee dander i swear ye'll bump in de stacks a lefal shops no sweat for defs.

Derry has a wide variety of stores go to the Foyleside and Richmond Centres as mentioned. Then go to the Craft Village very quaint with some nice little shops. Head to a little shop off Bishop Street called Flip for all your retro clothing, always worth a vist for a cool t-shirt or Jacket. Also try Trip for the skaters on Ferryquay Street. And head down to Waterloo St and WaterLoo Place for some more shopping. Also try Butcher Street where the Tower Hotel is some little shops thre a nice bit og lingerie or a nice hat ur looking for you'll get them there.

For all your hard to find CDs and vinyl from the 50s to the present day, you have to visit SOUNDSAROUND. Located on the corner of Waterloo Street and Castle gate, they have two floors of CDs, tapes, vinyl, videos and DVDs. They specialise in Punk, Indie, Heavy Metal, American and Irish Country. If you have been searching for a particular album or single for years, these are the boys to track it down for you. Oh, and the single ladies should ask for Aiden !!

As well as the many shops of all kind in Foyleside shopping centre from Marks and Spencer, Topshop, River Island, D2, Argos, Boots, Monsoon, Debenhams etc.... Derry boasts many individual shops in the grand streets, clothes shops such as trip (skater style), Kular (designer brands), French Connection, stylish shoe shops such as DV8 on shipquay street and Supertramp, near the guildhall (funky clothing). If you venutre through the streets you may happen to stumble across the craft village centered just off shipquay street, it is here were you may find many beautiful arts and crafts on sale.
If all that shopping has tired you out, derry has many sandwhich places and stylish cafes for you to relax sit back, and watch the world go by....

CD's, DVD's all cheap and dodgy from the 'shopping arcade' in sackville street! But dont worry, you can get good legal CD's from Virgin in foyleside shopping centre, or cool discs beside the bus depo

When you visit Londonderry/Derry, the main shopping centres are Foyeside and The Richmond Centre! Here you'll find all the usual highstreet shops, as well as some unusual ones!!! These 2 centres are more or less beside each other, so not a lot of walking involved to get from one to the other...In the Waterside area of the city, the side where Prehen is located, the only real shopping centre is the Lisnagelvin shopping centre, which is extremely small in comparison to the other 2. It has a Tesco, a cafe, a few chemist shops, a sports shop..and thats about it! As well as the two centres in the town which I have already mentioned, there are also various other shops, many of which sell cool, designer clobber! Goodluck, and happy shopping!
Foyleside
Derrys most modern shopping complex, big with the biggest name shops. One of 3 Mc Donalds in here. Directly opposite is The Richmond Centre with more modern shopping and great views.
