This is the place to be if you want to be noticed. On saturday night its R n'B, the Djs are cool and play some great music, The talent is great. Its usually around 6 quid to get into earth but you are allowed access to Cafe roc. Bar staff is not too bad but the crowd that goes there like to get dressed up and show off !!!!! Best place to go if your over 23.

On a sunday night there is no where to go than the metro, but you need to be there early !!!! THe barstaff are way fit as is the clientele. The music is a variety of all sorts ranging from R n' B to pop to 80s. Sunday night is the best night on the town!!!!

Sandino's cafe bar is located on Water Street in Derry's city side and is the best bar in town. It welcomes visitors from all over the world and presents some of the best entertainment around. So if it's a great night out your looking for Sandino's is the place to be. :-)

Just outside Derry dont miss McKeevers Bar, Claudy, on friday nite before OBW where there will be LIVE ROCK MUSIC (via the jukebox), Hot women (cos its very warm) and cold beer (from the fridge). Anyone coming to Derry for OBW make sure you stop in and have a few Pints in McKeevers, with the good irish "craic" and funny banter from the locals - you will never forget it!

Waterloo st is situated in the centre of the town. There you can sample alot of really cool bars. The Dungloe,The Gweedore,Bound for boston,Padder O' Donnells,Kates and The rocking chair. All on one street and all for different tastes. So go there and you should find one you like.

The staff make you wanna strip ;) ....and the dirnk is bloody good price!!!......it's very clean. modern and has a geat selection of musci played....another bar linked with the same company is called Wetherspoons. Again great prices and music of al types and ages played throughout the night!..ENJOY!!!

Go to MCKEEVERS bar in claudy only a fe miles outside derry. This place is da bomb an there will be some class music and also a karoke on a friday nite, so go there, on saturday nite you will be entertained by the likes david craig & natural touch, and if ur good u mite get to join us fer a lock in, and dont forget the happy hour from 9 to 10 all weekend, all shots are £1 , what more do ye want hi!!!

Fair enough the Metro and Earth are good venues on a Sat. nite if you wanna find yer self squashed like peas in a pod tryin to get a drink at the bar in the metro, or queing down the street outside Earth because the bouncers have an ego thing going... If your looking for a decent nite on the town after the 1bigwkend gig, I suggest you visit music and cultural loving bars with friendly barstaff and doormen, and of course proper live music.. These bars are the 'Bound for Boston' and 'Sandinos' or any of the bars in Waterloo st. Enjoy..! BigM;)

there is many bars and clubs in derry for having a good nite. there is the gallery in the waterside which is good on a saturday night. Then there is the metro which is always packed and great on a wednesday, it plays all mixture of music to dance to. There is earth on a thurs nite for gud beats, and cafe rock for that chilled night. The ice wharf is always good for a warm up few drinks, its cheap, cheerful and there is sum fine bar staff! Waterloo street is great coz its lined with bar after bar for all the indie/rock types lookin to chill and check out new local bands, the bound for boston is one of the best bars around! Also check out sandinos, pepes for a great experience! Derry has everything- from friendly people...hot men....and lots of cheap booze.
