Ricky Gervais to receive a Brit?
Last updated 22 January 2004

Ricky Gervais

As the Brit Awards approach, the rumour mill is gaining momentum.

It is believed the Brit Award Ceremony will pay homage to 'The Office' creator Ricky Gervais after he was missed off the BAFTA nomination forms by accident.

The rumour is that he will get a special award, but the people at the Brit Awards have told Radio 1 this is just an idea that's been kicked about in one of their meetings.

Jude Law has also been rumoured to present an award at the bash. Again the people at the Brits have said that this hasn't been confirmed and they still won't tell us who will host this year's ceremony.

The Brits take place at London's Earls Court on February 17.
