Busted are to perform at Brits...maybe
Last updated 13 January 2004

Busted

Busted are down to perform at the Brit Awards ceremony next month, along with The Darkness, Black Eyed Peas, Dido, Muse and 50 Cent, although they didn't seem to sure when we spoke to them last night (Monday).

They performed at the launch bash and were still reeling from finding out they are up for three gongs - Best Band, Best Pop Act as well as British Breakthrough Act as voted by Radio 1 listeners.

When we mentioned their performance at the Brits to them, they didn't seem to know:

Charlie: "It's not totally confirmed yet. We're kind of thinking about it - I don't know what we're going to do. Maybe we will - it'll be a surprise on the night."

James: "It would be good to perform at the Brits. I'd really like it if we could perform at the Brits."

Charlie: "Then at least if you don't win you have a reason to be there."

James: "Because like 'why are you here?' 'Oh, we're performing…'"

The Brits Awards ceremony takes place on February 17 at Earls Court in London.
