I watched maximo park on TV through the red button and i thought they were fantastic. they never fail to impress!

Caught the 45 minute set on 'the red button' Sunday night. Maximo Park rocked - they had an absolutely fantastic set. Paul full of energy from beginning to end and looked as ifhe enjoyed every minute. Well done Radio 1 for providing excellent coverage for those fans unable to get there.

Didnt think I was going to get to "One big w/e" cause I didnt get chosen but at the last minute my mates misses dropped out so I got her ticket. Thanks again Tracy. Maximo park were realy the only band I wanted to see and boy did they deliver. Playing a good mix from their first and latest musical masterpieces. Their energy filled the whole tent as the band ripped their way through "Our velocity" and "Girls who play guitars" as well as their next release "Books from boxes". Smith is one of the all time great front men. Thanks again Tracy. I owe you big time.

Maximo were amazing! i cant believe how they got the crowd going. They were the only band I really wanted to see and I wasnt dissapointed =D I'll definately go and see them again!

This set was spectacular. I believe every goddamn word that Paul Smith sings as he's just so completely sincere in his performance. They totally set the benchmark for energy and quality. There was a LOT of love in that tent for Maximo, and quite rightly so.

Absolutely amazing doesn't do them justice. They put so much energy into the set, Paul was going crazy as usual. One of the best live bands to see!!! Can't wait to see them again at Leeds!
