Four lads who first found fame after singer, Kele, gave Steve Lamacq a copy of their demo at a Franz Ferdinand gig - and Lammo loved it. Possibly the cleverest boys in indie rock, they manage to put across heavy messages in a melodic, post-punk style.

Bloc Party were by far the best at the big weekend but there are so many Bloc Party songs missing from the set list when watching online.plz bbc put the rest of the songs on. :(

i watched this on tv and was dissppointed they only played two released singles??? ive seen this band live over 13 times and they get better each time keles singing has improved a ton , dissappointed in radio one.

Tonight's Bloc Party set really did show what great talent they really are. The set was perfect for the day, both from the new and the old album it set the mood for the rest of the day. Sadly missing the classic Two More Years they knocked us flying by playing the great Helicopter. Hands flying, guitars blasting, lights flashing, this proves that this WAS Bloc Party's night! And Amazing set from an Amazing band.
