The Long Road

Huw Stephens features some of the BBC Music Introducing artists that performed at one of the UK’s largest, most authentic celebrations of country, Americana and roots music, The Long Road festival.

BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris curated the inaugural Introducing stage there, featuring the finest up-and-coming country and Americana acts from across the UK including The Adelaides, Robert J Hunter, Emma Moore, Little Folk, Painting Box, Jess Morgan, Cooper & Davies, Lexie Green & The Indigo Blue and The Lew Thomas Band. We’ll hear from a selection of those artists and Huw will chat to Bob Harris about the stage and the rise of Country music in the UK.

We will also be highlighting the BBC Music Introducing Live event that is happening at the beginning of November and playing you a couple of the confirmed artists performing across the 3 days at Tobacco Dock in London on the 8 -10 November.
