EU agrees billion dollar loan for Ukraine

It failed to reach an agreement to release frozen Russian assets held in Europe.

In a late night meeting EU leaders in Brussels have agreed a two year deal worth more than $100 billion to fund Ukraine's battle against Russia. They failed to agree using the billions of dollars worth of frozen Russian assets held in Europe. We get reaction from Ukraine.

We are reporting from Morocco. The Africa Cup of Nations gets underway on Sunday with 24 teams from around the continent competing for one of the great prizes in African sport. It's a big moment for Morocco, which will also joint host the World Cup in 2030. It has invested heavily in sports as a way of showcasing the country internationally.

And TikTok has signed a deal to create a joint venture for its US operations that will be controlled by American investors.
