
Leaders of DR Congo and Rwanda sign peace deal
It's hoped the deal will end the conflict in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
The leaders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have signed a peace agreement in Washington to end the long- running conflict in the eastern DRC. President Trump hosted Paul Kagame and Felix Tshisekedi in a ceremony at the newly renamed Donald J. Trump US Institute of Peace. Mr Trump called it a great day for Africa and the world.
Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands and Slovenia have said they will boycott next year's Eurovision Song Contest because Israel would continue to be allowed in the competition.
And Mark Zuckerberg plans to slash metaverse spending as he shifts his attention to AI. Metaverse was conceived as a virtual 3D space, where users interact while being represented by avatars.
