Taliban forces storm the northern Afghan city of Kunduz

The fighting comes despite peace talks between the Taliban and the United States.

The Taliban says it carried out a suicide bombing in the northern Afghan city of Kunduz which killed at least ten people. The attack followed hours of fighting which began when the militants attacked from several directions. The fighting comes despite peace talks between US and Taliban negotiators.
