India citizenship law: Protests continue
More than 20 people have died in clashes with police
We start in India where protests against a controversial citizenship law have continued. Tens of thousands of people have attended a rally in the central state of Madhya Pradesh. Critics say the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) targets India's 200 million plus Muslims. The government says it has been brought in to protect religious minorities fleeing persecution.
Also, the latest from Burkina Faso, where suspected Islamist militants have killed 35 civilians in an attack on a military base. The country's president has declared two days of national mourning.
And we go back to two women we spoke to who were affected by natural disasters in 2019. Kimberley was one of those who witnessed Hurricane Dorian which devastated the Bahamas in August. And Petra has been impacted by the bushfires in Australia, which last month spread to her neighbourhood.
