India citizenship law: Protests continue

In India, protests against a controversial citizenship law have continued. Tens of thousands of people have attended a rally in the central state of Madhya Pradesh. Critics say the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) targets India's 200 million plus Muslims. The government says it has been brought in to protect religious minorities fleeing persecution.

Also, government forces in Syria have pushed in on Idlib province, with hundreds of thousands of residents fleeing the area. We speak to a Syrian journalist.

And we go back to two women we spoke to who were affected by natural disasters in 2019. Kimberley was one of those who witnessed Hurricane Dorian which devastated the Bahamas in August. And Petra has been impacted by the bushfires in Australia, which last month spread to her neighbourhood.
