Venezuela: Maduro Offers to Hold Early Legislative Elections

Thousands of people demonstrate for and against Maduro in rival protests.

The Venezuelan president, Nicolas Maduro, has sought to undermine the legitimacy of his rival's claim to office by offering to hold early legislative elections. Also on the programme: we look ahead to today's election in El Salvador, a country of only six million people in which over three thousand murders took place last year. And we also take a look at children and jokes; what makes small children laugh? The team behind The Beano, the UK's most popular comic have surveyed their readers to find out.
