Virginia Governor Refuses to Quit Over Racism Row
Ralph Northam denies being in a racist photograph.
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has denied he was in a racist photo that appeared in his 1984 student yearbook page after initially apologising for it. Mr Northam said he recognised that people would find this "hard to believe". He also admitted blackening his face to impersonate singer Michael Jackson at an event in the same year. We meet the journalist who broke the story.
Also on the programme a Caracas based businessman tells us about the effects of hyperinflation as the crisis in Venezuela continues. And we go to Spain where the trials of twelve Catalan separatists is due to begin in the Supreme Court.
