Virginia Governor In Racism Storm

Ralph Northam has apologised over racist photograph taken in 1984.

Pressure is mounting on the Democratic governor of the US state of Virginia to resign, after he appeared in an offensive photograph featuring men in racist costumes. Ralph Northam apologised, saying the picture from his 1984 medical school yearbook did not reflect who he was today. Also on the programme: as the US pulls out of the INF treaty, one of the original negotiators remembers what it was like dealing with Soviet Russia in the 1980s. And we also meet the Italian man who has spent 30 years tending to the victims of landmines in Afghanistan.
