Mildred tours the theatrical circuit with her husband Dicky as his Magician’s Assistant, ‘Frilly Milly’. Mildred nearly lost everything as a young chorus girl when she caught the eye of a well to do gentleman, and was saved by the generosity of Dicky. As an act of love, and for class reasons, she and Dicky remain a secret in the life of their only daughter.
