Craig has mining in his blood.
HisĀ father and his grandfather were both coal miners, and he followed them into the industry too.
Just over a year ago he left coal mining to join mine rescue and he is now based at Rawdon Mine Rescue Centre in Leicestershire.
Craig teaches safety to people who work underground, but is also part of a rapid response unitĀ that can be called out to any accidents.
Craig lives with his wife Angela and three children in Staffordshire.
