Background
Intricate, melodic, dark, experimental, mischievous - Aphex Twin is an avatar for the creatively disruptive heart of British electronica. The man behind the mythical name - Richard D. James - has recorded prolifically for over 24 years, helping to define the sound of Warp Records and his co-founded imprint Rephlex.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2001’s Drukqs, Syro is unmistakably, uncompromisingly Aphex, a warm analogue trip through playful acid melodies, fuzzy techno and haunting ambience.

What the critics say
"Syro is amazing: bug-eyed, banging rave that sounds quintessentially Aphex while not quite sounding like anything he’s done before." - NME
"We’re going to be talking about this album for years to come." - Paste Magazine
