James Herriot

The world-famous pseudonym of vet and author Alf Wight, James Herriot took on a life of his own in the novels, films and BBC TV series. Now he returns as a young man, pursuing his dream of being a “dog doctor” in a world only concerned with horses and cows. He arrives at Glasgow Veterinary College with a lot to learn, and he will pick up a few bruises along the way as the essential strength of character that will see him through to Darrowby is put to the test.
