Start to look at the games you play in a more critical way. You need to know what works and why, what’s innovative, and what the different styles of game play are. The biggest and most advanced games cost millions to make and many, many months to develop. The global gaming industry is estimated to be worth £80billion, so if you think you’ve got what it takes, there’s probably a role in there for you!

The creative skillset of gaming is on the up, so if you’ve got artistic flair or creative ideas, you’re onto something. Development is crucial to gaming, so you’re actually in an environment where you can make mistakes!
