Farming is Nick’s life.
As it was his father’s and his father’s before that. The land is in his blood.
It’s just confusing why it hasn’t made it to William. As Nick struggles on with seemingly no help from anywhere, he’s reluctant to let the one thread holding history and the future together go.
Only problem is, that thread is William. And William’s definitely got no interest in getting muddy for the rest of his life.
Dean Andrews
Perhaps best known for his role as DS Ray Carling in the hit shows Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes, Dean has most recently starred alongside Nicola Walker and Sarah Lancashire in the acclaimed BBC1 drama Last Tango In Halifax. He has also appeared in Russell T Davies’ Banana for C4.
Other television roles have included Pete in Being Eileen (BBC1), and Tony Powell in The Case (BBC1). Dean has appeared on stage at the Royal Exchange Manchester, and in films, and is a passionate supporter of his local football team, Rotherham United.
