Valentine Warner and Ed Baines

Valentine Warner and Ed Baines visit and compete in country shows on a journey which takes them from Yorkshire to the south coast and back, including Otley, Lambeth, Brighton, Stokesley and Nidderdale.

Ed Baines is the chef and co-owner of Randall & Aubin in London.

Past previous television appearances include Lunch with Ed Baines and Ed Baines Entertains. He was a judge on Britain's Best Dish, is a regular guest on Lorraine and co-presented BBC Good Food Live.

Valentine Warner trained as a portrait painter before putting down the brush to pick up the spoon. He worked in London restaurants for eight years under such chefs as Alastair Little and Rose Carrarini before setting up his own company. A passionate cook, he believes that a real understanding of ingredients, the producers involved and the natural history of ingredients contributes as much to the plate as the cooking itself.

Past previous television appearances include What to Eat Now and Valentine Warner: Coast to Coast. He is involved with judging for the BBC Radio 4 Food & Farming Awards and regularly presents programmes for BBC Radio 4.
