Jun Tanaka and Galton Blackiston
Jun Tanaka and Galton Blackiston buckle up for a road trip like no other. They’re travelling from the Lake District all the way to Henley on Thames, competing in traditional country shows up and down the UK including Hawkshead, Wensleydale, Glendale, Clovelly and Henley.
Jun Tanaka has been Executive Chef at Pearl restaurant in London since its opening and in June 2011 he launched Street Kitchen – a mobile food van serving gourmet street food with Mark Jankel, his friend and business partner.
In 2006 he presented Cooking It and has made regular appearances on Market Kitchen and Saturday Kitchen. More recently Jun has appeared on Ten Mile Menu and Chopped.
Galton Blackiston is the owner and chef at Morston Hall in Norfolk. He is passionate about Norfolk produce and has been sharing this passion in his kitchen with twice-monthly cookery demonstrations since 1992. He also filmed twelve three-minute segments on Anglia TV promoting seasonal Norfolk produce.
Galton was a finalist in the first series of Great British Menu and also appeared on Put Your Menu Where Your Mouth Is.
