The Skull of a Saint at Wardley Hall

Salford's Wardley Hall holds a sacred relic; the skull of a Saint. In 1641, Catholic priest Ambrose Barlow was persecuted for his beliefs. Now, his skull is preserved in a glass cabinet in the wall of the official residence of the Catholic Bishop of Salford.
