Alan Bennett's 'Enough Said' on Brexit and Covid-19

Alan Bennett’s latest volume of diaries is out in March 2026, covering eight years from 2016-2024.

Titled 'Enough Said', the famed playwright of The History Boys starts the diaries in the year of Brexit and leads to a time after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Special correspondent James Naughtie has been talking to him about the tumultuous time period.
