These Frightening Machines, the third album from Alvechurch folk sensation Katherine Priddy, is amongst releases by Harry Styles, Olivia Dean and Bruno Mars.

Her first two albums topped the Official UK Folk Albums Chart, her third landed in the Official UK Albums Chart as one of the 40 biggest selling albums of the week, in its first seven days of release. It also topped the Official Americana Albums Chart and Official Record Store Chart.

Katherine's music has been heavily supported by BBC Hereford & Worcester and BBC Introducing since she began making music. With her incredible voice, soul-stirring melodies and poignant lyrics, she weaves effortlessly between Greek mythology and the trees and houses of the Worcestershire village she grew up in.

She's played for the BBC at the virtual Airwaves Festival in 2021, studio sessions galore and a stunning acoustic set at The Hay Festival. The musician has toured all over the world and is no stranger to having her shows televised, too.
