My dad: Bromsgrove Rovers legend

Available for over a year

Mark Crisp scored in the 1994 FA Cup third round epic against Barnsley, in front of 5,000 supporters. He went on to make 350 appearances for Bromsgrove, many amongst what townsfolk recall as the team's glory years under manager Bobby Hope. 'Kipper', as he was affectionately known, died in October 2024 aged 60. A charity game has been arranged at the club's ground to raise funds for the local Primrose Hospice, which looked after Mark and his family during his illness. Malcolm Boyden hears from Mark's son, Max, who shares how Bromsgrove Rovers legends will play a team of Birmingham City legends, including former players Craig Gardner and Lee Carsley, on Sunday 22 March 2026.
