Why did the toad cross the road?
In spring, large numbers of toads risk their lives crossing busy roads as they migrate back to their breeding ponds.
But, help is on hand thanks to the many volunteers who patrol known toad "hot-spots" and guide them to safety.
BBC Radio Shropshire’s Kate Tebby has been out with the Wilderley Toad Patrol group near Dorrington.
