Make a Difference Awards 2026
The BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards 2026 are open for nominations.
It's our chance to turn the spotlight on those who go above and beyond to help others.
Southampton Paralympian Aaron Phipps is judging the Young Hero category, he's been chatting to BBC Radio Solent's Lucy Ambache about the Awards.
The Young Hero Award will be awarded to an individual or group of young people under 16 who have made a positive impact in their community or achieved something exceptional.
For a full list of categories - and details of how to nominate someone - go to bbc.co.uk/makeadifference, where you can also see full Terms and our Privacy Notice.
Nominations are open now and close on the 31st March 2026 at 5pm.
The winners will be announced at our BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards ceremony in September.
