England’s earliest non religious medieval theatre may have begun in Beverley. Historian Marcus Ramshaw is writing a book on Medieval Beverley and uncovered the play called 'The Story of the Student and the Girl' in the archives. Sally Fairfax has been to see the play and find out more about its origins.
