What is it like to live with bipolar disorder?

Kimberley asks psychiatrist Dr Nick Prior about the difference between bipolar disorder type 1 and type 2 and when you should seek help and a diagnosis.

Bipolar disorder (also known as bipolar affective disorder) is a term we hear but often don’t fully understand. Kimberley talks with Dr Nick Prior, a psychiatrist who has lived experience of the mental health condition. What's the difference between bipolar type 1 and type 2, when should you seek help, and what you can do to help manage your condition alongside a diagnosis?

Kimberley Wilson, chartered psychologist, is on a mission to sift through all the information and misinformation that’s out there around our mental health to help create more self-awareness and understanding. She invites expert guests - trained psychologists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists - to join her and together they share insight and valuable tips.
