Homecooked kindness, one lasagne away
A global volunteer movement that delivers homemade lasagnes to families in need has reached Coventry. Lasagna Love, founded during the pandemic in the United States, now has more than 80,000 volunteers worldwide offering contact‑free meal drop‑offs to people facing hardship. Rebecca Harrington, from Coventry, made her first lasagne for a single parent with six children after signing up online. She says cooking helps her cope with ADHD and personal loss and hopes her trays of food, complete with a heart on top, bring comfort to local families. She spoke to BBC CWR's Vic Minett.
