Tributes to an 'inspirational' cancer campaigner
Alice Greaves from Old Dalby has sadly passed away at the age of just 27 after a brave battle with stage 3 breast cancer, which eventually spread to her lungs and brain.
Following her diagnosis, Alice raised more than £250,000 for cancer charities – taking on huge bike rides all whilst fighting the disease. She raised breast cancer awareness through her social media page "IfAnyoneCanAliceCan".
Alice won in the BBC Radio Leicester Make A Difference Awards last year and she spoke to BBC Radio Leicester at that time.
And in the last few days one of the charities she supported, Hope Against Cancer, has given their response to her passing.
