Pembridge brothers' epic UK first

Herefordshire siblings Carl & Craig Searles became the first British brothers to complete the 2026 Dakar Rally, crossing the finish line after a mammoth 8,000km ride.

Back home, the pair tell Trevor Owens how their journey involved juggling hundreds of miles a day on their motorbikes and up to only five hours of sleep. They were supported by only a small team, including their dad, in one of motorsport's most prestigious yet gruelling events, across several countries in the Middle East.
