Trump ‘picked the scab that never heals’
Lucy Aldridge's son William was 18 when he was killed in Afghanistan, the youngest serviceman to lose his life.
President Trump claimed to American news that that Nato troops stayed 'a little off the front lines' during the war in Afghanistan.
The remarks have sparked outrage in the UK from politicians and veterans' families, including the Herefordshire relatives of rifleman William.
Lucy, who's from Bromyard, said she was 'disgusted' by the US President's comments. She tells Elliott Webb 'that single sentence is enough to drag up difficult and traumatic memories for the families of soldiers that didn't come home'.
