Inside Lincoln’s Community Diagnostic Centre
The centres in Lincoln, Skegness and Grantham – plus a fourth being built in Boston – are intended to take the strain off acute hospital services.
Almost £80m of NHS funding has gone into four Community Diagnostic Centres in Lincolnshire. The centres in Lincoln, Grantham and Skegness, plus a fourth under construction in Boston, are designed to handle patients with appointments, freeing up equipment and resources at main hospitals for A&E and ward patients. William Wright has been to the Lincoln CDC.
