‘One day soon it’s going to be a child’s blood’
Locals Rebecca Mycock & Carol Phillips on the dangerous traffic concern in Madeley Heath. After a number of incidents in the Staffordshire village, including one in December 2025 where a man was hit by a car, locals and parents at Meadows Primary School have joined together to form a community speed watch group. They're demanding Staffordshire County Council and the police do something to stop drivers speeding along the A525, and the BBC's Lee Blakeman spoke to them during their demonstration outside the school.
