Homicide at record low - but do Londoners feel safe?

Homicide in London has fallen to its lowest level in more than a decade, new figures released by the Metropolitan Police show.

It is the lowest homicide figure in London on record, once population is taken into account.

Why has there been a decline? And do figures like these translate into Londoners feeling safer?
