Dorothy called BBC Radio Stoke to say she often goes day without post. She's missed out on crucial medical appointments because letters from her doctor are showing up sometimes weeks too late.

A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We take any delay very seriously and will investigate these reports. We want to reassure customers that the overwhelming majority of mail is being delivered on time, and as we head into Christmas our teams are well prepared to keep deliveries consistent and reliable.”
