Westport cafe owner blames parking costs for falling customers
The owner of the cafe at Westport lake says the cost of parking is impacting trade. She says the cafe has tried to reach an arrangement with the city council to reimburse parking costs.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council said: “The parking charges at Westport Lake have remained unchanged since November 2021. All revenue from the charges goes back into supporting the park's management, including CCTV, litter picking and community safety initiatives.”
