'I finished the novel my late mother started'
For Sedgeley's Kay Louise Bowen, the first-time writer's finished book has picked up festival spots across the country as well as in the USA and Mexico.
The first chapters of 'Secrets', Kay says, were found in a forgotten folder, from when her mother worked with the family construction business. She tells Nina how the sentences and paragraphs kept on flowing.
A sequel is already in the works.
