The London Sewing Machine Museum in Balham is a tiny, perplexing, intriguing place.

The London Sewing Machine Museum is a perplexing place in lots of ways.

To start it's inside an industrial warehouse on edge of Tooting and Balham. It's also owes its existence to just one man, and his private collection. And most unusual of all, it's only open once a month, just 10 months of the year.

Despite all that it has some of the rarest and most historically significant sewing machines in the world.
