Coventry City appoint Frank Lampard as Head Coach
Frank Lampard is the new Sky Blues Head Coach. The former England and Chelsea star has previously managed Chelsea, Everton and Derby, although he hasn’t managed a team since his interim spell at Chelsea last year. BBC CWR's Will Oelrich takes a look at Lampard’s career and speaks to BBC Sports reporters Chris Coles and Mike Hughes who have covered his journey as manager at Derby and Everton. The club confirmed the appointment twenty one days after Mark Robins was sacked by Chairman and owner Doug King, following a slow start to the 2024/25 season.
