Maldon hospital closure plan delayed
A final decision about the future of St Peter’s Hospital in Maldon has been delayed by six months, following a wide backlash from patients. Birthing and stroke rehabilitation services at the 150-year-old community hospital were due to be relocated elsewhere in Essex under the scheme.
