Foulness Island trespass warning issued
HM Coastguard Southend says there has been an increase in the number of families, some with young children, who've been trespassing on a Ministry of Defence (MOD) firing range in south Essex.
The marshy landscape and mudflats of Foulness Island (known as MOD Shoeburyness) has been been a weapons testing site for more than 170 years. It even has its owned heritage centre and a number of people still live and work on the island too.
