D-Day 80: Letter to Devon before Normandy Landings

Robin Barlow, who lives in mid Devon, was left a trove of documents by his father, Peter, who'd been one of the men who planned the Normandy landings.

Amongst the maps and dispatches was a letter Peter sent home to his wife during a lull in the fighting. Robin shared his father’s letter with Kevin Hay.
