When Aidan Hunter’s brand-new boat is stolen, Inspector Finn takes an active interest in the case. Aidan is bemused by the special treatment, little knowing that Finn’s ulterior motive is to find out just what sort of man Aidan really is. When the boat thieves are finally arrested, Aidan is unexpectedly magnanimous and forgiving. This gives Finn all the answers he needs – leading him to make a life-changing decision.
