Leicester GP working to get more ethnic minorities to become stem cell donors
Registering as a stem cell donor could save someone's life.
Tasneem Ali is a Leicester GP. Her son had blood cancer, and as a parent she wants to raise more awareness of how to become a donor of stem cells.
She's now joined forces with DKMS, a blood stem cell charity, to get more people from ethnic minorities to sign up.
And in a few weeks she's bringing a donor drive event at the Highcross Shopping centre.
She joined Letitia George to explain further.
