Episode 4

The dancers of Paris’s most famous cabaret club start rehearsals for their big performance on French TV’s popular New Year’s Eve show, La grande soirée. Watched by millions, it could mean a boost for bookings. But they only have five days to come up with three new dance routines, and Janet is struggling to come up with some of the choreography. After announcing that she can’t do it, she retreats to her office, leaving her bewildered dancers with nothing to learn.

One problem that can’t be fixed quite so quickly is new dancer Jen’s hip injury, which could prevent her making her stage debut. For now, rehearsals must go on, and Jen and her fellow newbie, Erin, are delighted to have finally earned the privilege of stepping into the iconic red, white and blue can-can costumes.
